Hey everyone!
My name is Megan DeMaria and I am a freshman at UNC.
This summer I visited Italy and fell in love with it. I went to Tuscany, Venice, Siena, Lake Como, Milan, and the Cinque Terre. I also ate more pizza and pasta than I ever thought imaginable! I hope to go back someday, especially to my favorite town by the sea called Vernazza.
I like to read, go to the gym, and ride horses. I have been riding since I was eight years old. I don't watch too much TV but I must admit I am a huge fan of The Office and Food Network...and if I'm being completely honest, The Hills. I also am obsessed with- you guessed it- Carolina basketball! In my free time (ha) I enjoy volunteering at the Robbie Page Memorial Playroom at the UNC Hospital.
Someday I would like to live by the beach- maybe in Charleston- but for now I enjoy being in beautiful Chapel Hill. I am always up for meeting new people or trying new things. I believe that variety is the spice of life.
I am hoping that this class will get me interested in reading novels I normally wouldn't pick up.
I have not decided on a major but as of now I'm leaning towards psychology. I can't wait to see where life takes me. :)
