Salutations!

Hello, Everyone. My name is Alexis Rae Georgeson and I am a first year student. I am a psychology major with hopes of one day becoming a clinical psychologist or art therapist and am currently trying out different types of classes in hopes of picking up a minor. I enrolled in this class because I really enjoyed my American Literature class that I took my junior year of high school and hope to learn more about major American writers and their pieces of literature.
I grew up in Apex, North Carolina, which is a little town near Raleigh. Even though I love the atmosphere in Chapel Hill, I get homesick and go home occasionally. I also go to Boone, North Carolina quite often to enjoy the beauty of the mountains, visit my good friends, boyfriend, and brother who all attend Appalachian State.
Learning and doing well in school are my first priorities, but when I'm not busy with school work, it is likely to find me ambling around campus or Franklin St. with my camera around my neck, searching out interesting things to photograph. Photography is one of my passions and I am currently learning how to develop my own photos in a dark room.
